German inventor and musician, Theobald Böhm was the inventor of the flute. It was made on April 9, 1794 – November 25,1881. it was first made of wood and the first flute was made in Germany in 1830. They went and changed it from wood to metal because it would not last long when it was wood.

Lay your lower lip over the edge of the mouth hole, and blow it like a pop bottle. it is hard to get a sound out of it at first but you have to roll it so it will adjust for the sound. The flute has to be parallel to the ground because if you don't it sounds odd. -
