The first 10 amendments in the COnstitution make up the Bill of Rights. It gave all Americans,regardless of race or religiong, the same rights. It also put a limit on government power. -
War of 1812
This war was fought against Great Britain again. It was important because it fought for free trade and Sailors' rights, which we neeede because trade was sbecoming a big part of our economy. -
Civil War Ended
WInning of the Civil War and also the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation helped end slavery and African Americans more rights.
