    Fashion in the 1500's
    Fashion in the 1500's consisted of gowns and heavy dress wear for women. Men wore suites with long tails and fancy hats.

    Men and Women Fashion 1520's
    Fashion for men and women starting to change a bit around this time. Mainly for the men. Women still wore similar heavy dress wear, but the men began to wear tights (leggings) with shorts and bulky blazers matched with a fancy hat.

    Women begun to wear ruffle collar dresses.

    The women have ditched the collars and the attention was drawn to the sleeves of the dress.

    Fashion repeats itself. The collars are back in style in the 1620's with the sleeves as well.

    This is the time when the men started wearing capri pants in the 1630's.

    In 1635 women started wearing puffier dresses and men started wearing puffy tops and puffy diaper like shorts with leggings.

    In the 1640's the women's dresses just got a little bigger on the sides and the men's outfits stayed almost the same as in the 1635's.

    Again men stayed almost the same they just changed their collars to being a little bit bigger , and women now have trails following their dresses.

    Women's dresses were about the same and men's wear were long like coats down to their bottoms and baggy leggings lookalike.

    Women's dresses were still puffy and men started wearing dress like outfits with leggings.

    In the 1655's women starter wearing their dresses with a spiked like collar and men still wore dress like outfits.

    Men started wearing wigs and hard coverings over their clothes like shields and women still had their long sleeve dresses with pointed collars.

    Both men and women went back to wearing simple dresses for women and for men leggings with diaper like shorts and puffy shouldered tops.

    Basically they both stayed in the same fashion trend from 1660's to 1665's. Except they decided to start wearing hats.

    Women wore dresses like before with little small cover up hats, ad men wore very thick suits with high knee boots.

    Women's trends don't change at all, but the men go back to capri pants basically with their leggings.

    Men in the 1700's wore leggings with their long calf coats , and women wore long big puffy dresses.

    Men still wore their fashion trends from the 1700's and the women changed their long sleeves to sleeves that go to their elbows and also their dresses aren't as big.

    In the 1775's women wore tight dresses that are big on the arms and on the bottom of the dresses , added with big detailed hats, men wore their long coats with their usual leggings, men's trend didn't change much as the women's.
