    in Europe was very simple for both men and women, and quite uniform across the continent. Male and female clothing were relatively similar, and changed very slowly, if at all. For the rich, colour and rare fabrics such as silk from the silkworm was very important. Blue was introduced and became very fashionable, being adopted by the Kings of France as their heraldic colour.

    What really influenced there fashion was the high social class, European Kings and Queens. During this time women used pregnancy pillows.

    Women's fashions of the earlier 16th century consisted of a long gown, usually with sleeves, worn over a kirtle or undergown, with a linen chemise or smock worn next to the skin.

    The world war ll affected the fashion design. Alot of things were removed during this time, 2 pants suit, vests, and even types of food. Women also began to wear pants.
