Exposition
In the novel "Fallen" by Lauren Kate, she introduces the characters: Lucinda Price, Daniel Grigori, and Cam Briel. The story took place at Sword & Cross in Savannah. Luce atteneded Sword a& Cross because of a wrong turn of relationship that she had and later met Cam and they both became friends. It wasn't until Luce met Daniel that her whole life turned upside down with more confusing questions about herself, Daniel, and their past love. -

Conflict
On the first day that Luce came to Sword & Cross, she met Cam and they become good friends but twisted when she laid eyes on Daniel. When Luce first saw Daniel she swore she had seen him before, he was like a magnet to her, drawing Luce's attention only at him. Luce tries to talk to him and get to know him better but on the very first day, he actually flipped her off and showed no sign of interest. That day on, she's always been thinking about him and was determined to know more about Daniel. -
Rising Action
In order to get to know Daniel more, Luce asks her friend Arraine about him and Arraine told her about the simple things, basically the usual things like his name and who is friends are. Throughout her journey into discovering Daniel she met Penn along the way and both of them go on a journey to dig a bit deeper into Daniel's history through books as welll as using the limited internet access. -
Turning Point
In order for Luce to actually get to know Daniel more, she has to make some sort of communication to begin with. Whenever she bumps into Daniel by accident or by chance she would have mixed feelings about him. At one moment he seems to be cold and careless but the next, he's kind and warm hearted. Even though Luce is still searching about his past, Daniel did seem to take interest in her but it wasn't what Luce had wanted. He still didnt show any affections towards her but ingore her more. -
Falling Action
Through Luce's journey to know more of Daniel, she some how got into trouble with Cam and realizes that he is a cold person while Daniel was the warm hearted person. Though Daniel never really show any affections, he did give up and give in his feelings to her, with a fear up against his spine. Now Luce has to choose between the person who she thought was a kind person now into cold (Cam) or the person who ignores her but truley loves her (Daniel.) -
Resolution
In the end Luce decides to go to Daniel as they were made to be. This crushed Cams heart though Luce didn't pay any attention to him because he wasn't the same sweet and kind hearted person that she had met when she first arrived to Sword & Cross on her first day. Luce was much more happier with Daniel who ignored her for a while, rather than with Cam who gave her all of his attention but made her heart ach with his actions towards Daniel and their love.
