    Because the Disarmament Conference was a failure and Hitler needed to rearm Germany
    ----- Hitler used the meeting with the League of Nations about disarmament because he knew that France would refuse... He was munipulative and stormed out making it seem like he wanted peace but France was the problem.   • Italy Invades Ethiopia

    Mussolini invaded Ethiopia, because, first of all, he had grandiose ideas of building a "new Roman Empire," and being the new Julius Caesar. Thus, Mussolini invaded Ethiopia after giving a speech saying, "Ahora basta!" This meant "now it stops!" (referring to the raids of Eritrea and Somalia).   • Hitler Declares parts of the Treaty of Versailles "Null and Void"

    I think Hitler's acts where not justified because he knew exactly what he was doing. He declared clauses and parts of the treaty as "null and void" so people could nto stop him from continuing expanding and creating wars.

    The only member of his cabinet not to resign was Seyss-Inquart. As the sole member of the Austrian government, he invited German troops into Austria in March 1938. On March 15th 1938, Hitler entered Vienna in triumph. The pleasure of the huge crowds was difficult to disguise. It is said that even Hitler was surprised by the size of the crowds and by the cheering.     *The Sudetenland contained 3.5 million Germans who had been cut off from the rest of Germany after the creation of Czechoslovakia by the Treaty of Versaille. Hitler felt he had a ligitimate cliam upon the area because he saw it as German land. Also, Sudeten Germans claimed they were victimised by the Czech government and wanted home rule or union with Germany.
