    Evelyn Fox Keller Evelyn Fox Keller (born March 20, 1936) is an American physicist, author and feminist. She is currently Professor Emerita of History and Philosophy of Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
    Evelyn received her B.A. in physics from Brandeis University in 1957 and continued her studies in theoretical physics at Harvard University in 1963, where she received her PhD.

    Evelyn's career may have started as a mathematical biophysicist, but her passion for equality stretched far beyond the imagination, she felt that the presence of women in science was not strong and needed to be brought to the forefront, so that they can get a glimpse of the light. Evelyn believed that science was no longer going to be a "mans world" she felt compelled to change the perspective of society that science should not be built on the essence of Masculinity alone.

    During the course of her career Evelyn has achieved high honorary awards for work in feminism and other projects, one of these honors includes being apart of one the most prestigious organizations such as: The American Philosophical Society (APS) which was founded in 1743. This honor was given to Evelyn Fox Keller for her immense knowledge in the sciences and humanities in scholarly research, professional meetings and publications.
