Intro to Ignite: Industry Versus Inferiority
In 2005, second grade for Brianne, she was placed into the Ignite program at her school. She had been ostracized from classmates due to her constant tangents. Ignite offered a space for her to think differently with likeminded peers and offered her the ability to use things of interest to learn the required material. In this stage of industry vs inferiority ignite served as a place where Brianne would receive encouragement and develop the ability to take an enthusiastic approach in school. -
Brianne's First Job: Identity Versus Identity Confusion
In the fall of 2013 at the age of 16, Brianne obtained employment at her first job. It was the first time she interacted with people of similar age outside of her school settings and opened up the ability for her to find bits and pieces of herself she could identify with around her peers. In this stage of identity versus identity confusion having a place to interact with peers outside of a school setting leading the conscious development of interests and personal identity. -
Marriage: Intimacy Vs Isolation
Brianne married her husband Xavier in the fall of 2018 as they had made the decision to officially commit to a lifetime together after having a child together. In this stage of intimacy vs isolation, they both overcame the fear of losing their individual selves in order to combine lives and form an intimacy to nurture a family.
