I was born in the Bronx, New York City on 1960. Raiced in a puertorrican family day care while my parents were working. No one spoke English there.

Public school at the Bronx. For the first time surrounded by English speaking people during three years.

I was placed one grade below (in second grade) because I couldn't pass a reading and writting test that they gave me in Spanish. I took only one hour regular English class from Monday to Friday.

Studied during these years in Puerto Rico and only took English regular classes during one hour from Mondays to Fridays. On high school I met an american girl named Casey, with who I had a chance to practice English once in a while during our free periods.

Completed a BA in Secretarial Sciences.

This was in The University of Puerto Rico. I began formal studies in English, since I was working as a teacher from 1991.

Actually taking courses to obtain my Bilingual Certification. Already have 5 credits on it. I will hopely finish on May.2013.
