Ender was invited by Graff to come to battle school to learn fighting strategies to defeat the buggers. Graff thinks that Ender will be the one to defeat the buggers.

twenty boys, including Ender get into a space shuttle that will take them to battle school. On the shuttle Graff tell everyone that Ender is the only smart one of them all.

Ender makes friends by making hacking into Bernard's computer and makes him look foolish. After that a kid named Shen start being friendly with Ender.

The Launchies enter the battle room for the first time. Ender makes another friend in the battle room Alai. Alai is a good in the battle room, he and Ender start practicing together. Bernard, Shen, Alai and Ender win in the battle room.

Ender is playing a game that they call "the mind game" and Ender is obsessing over a level called "The Giant's Drink." Where he has to kill a giant to beat the level and he feels bad when he kill the giant. The commander are impressed because nobody else has ever passed "The Giant's Drink."

Ender is the first launchie to be transferred because he impressed Graff. Bonzo Madrid, the commander of salamander does not like Ender. Bonzo can not control Ender so he is soon transferred to the Rat army.

Rose de Nose the commander of rat army is Enders new leader. Rose assigned Ender to Dink's platoon.

The Older boys tried to intimidate the Launchies into stop practicing with Ender. The Launchies escaped do to their practice with Ender and Ender also took a couple of the boys out.

Ender kills the giant snake, then looks in the mirror and sees Peter. After this experience he never play the games again, but in his dreams he feels like he is being accused of being like Peter.

Back on Earth Peter and Val plan to take over the world by make two people Locke and Demosthenes. Locke is written by Peter and Demosthenes is written by Val.

Anderson and Graff give Ender his own Army to command. They give him some special rules such as he can not trade any of his members. His army is made up of new kids and older kids that have not succeeded in battle school. With practice he whips his army into shape.

Ender's army easily win their first battle after being togother for a month.

The day after beating Rabbit army the next day they fight Pheonix and beat them also.

After his army conquered many other armies, Ender started to watch bugger videos. In the videos he did not understand how Mazer Rackham defeats the buggers by destroying one ship.

Ender's army just beat ferret army in the morning and later they had to face the Salamander army and he beats them.

Bonzo attacked Ender in the shower. Ender tricked him into a one-on-one fight and beat him. Later we find out that he kill Bonzo and Stilson.

Ender is back on Earth to take a break from battle school. He gets to talk with his Val and she talks him into going to command school for her.

At command school Ender is isolated from people and for fun plays a space war simulator. There he meets his teacher Mazer Rackham and Mazer introduces him self by attacking Ender.

At comand school he meets his teacher Mazer Rackham. Mazer introduces himself by attacking Ender. When speaking with Ender he tells him how he beat the buggers in the second invasion, he killed the queen bugger.

Ender was put in a "simulated battle," but he was actually commanding the third fleet in a real battle against the buggers. Ender wins the battle by blowing up the Bugger's planted.

After Ender finds out that he actually destroyed the Bugger's planet, he decides to help them find a new planet.
