    -set the Appalatians Mountians are the temporary boundry for the colonies
    -colonist angery becuase the British ignored their claims on land west of the Appalatians

    -lowerd tax on sugar hoping that colonist would pay the tax then
    -allowed troops to search homes
    -colonist angerd, because it violated their rights

    -placed tax on almost all printed material, newspapers, wills, and playing cards
    -interferd with colonist affairs by taxing directly and without their consent

    -law stated the Parliment had the right to tax and make decisions for the British colonies

    -taxed only applied to imported goods, such as glass, tea, and paper
    -Daughters of liberty convinced coloinist to wear home made clothes and to produce their own goods, not british
