    Her early years

    Little is known about her early education but she knew Latin, Italian and English. Her study in math was encouraged by a family friend, M. de Mezieres, who recognized the young lady's talent.

    She got married at the age 19 to Marquis du Châtele. Who could not stop her from studying math and other things.

    Institutions de physique is the title of her book.

  • Her death

    She had her third child and soon after on the 10 of September she passed away
