    Completed here Ph.d. in Biology at Yale. She majored in zoology and complete minors in philosophy and English. She wrote her dissertation: The Search for Organizing Relations: An Organismic Paradigm in Twentieth-Century Developmental Biology about experiments shaped in experimental biology.
  • The Cyborg Manifesto

    Haraway publishes The Cyborg Manifesto. Here, she introduces the idea of animal and machine as an analogy to nature and culture, as well as self and world. Being a feminist, Haraway also used the "cyborg" as a way of moving and breaking sexist models.
  • Primate Visions

    After publishing the Cyborg Manifesto, Haraway later wrote Primate Visions. She introduced primatology. This is the ideology that most topics and ideas tend to have a more masculine direction, and elaborated the differences between male and female primatologists.
  • Current Day

    Today, Haraway is a Professor Emerita in the History of Consciousness and the Feminism Departments at the University of California. To date, she has been awarded the J. D. Bernal Award and the Ludwick Fleck Prize.
