    It was held in the United States. The purpose was to get legal citizens to amend the constitution. The result was legal rights for all citizens. Congress made that happen.

    It was held in New Orleans, Lousianna. The purpose was they challenged the law and lost. The result was the desicion was overuled so Homer Plessy won.

    This was held in Topeka, Kansas. The purpose was protesting and supreme court. The result was it became a long controversial stuggle to desegregate the nations schools. It also strengthend the government commitment to the civil rights movement. The leader was The Browns.

    This event was held in Arkansas. The purpose was the kids had to face angry whites while attending an all white school. The result was they cracked the wall of racism. The leaders were Ellizabeth Eckford, and the other eight african american students.

    This event was held in Birmingham Jail. Martin Luther King wrote the letter to explain his emotions and desicions while he was in jail. The result was people knew how he felt, now everybody wont give up on fighting for their equal rights in the world.

    This event was held in Selma, Alabama. The purpose was to protest for blacks to have rights to vote. The result was they won while protesting. Now blacks have a right to vote. The leader was Malcolm X.
