    Demetria Devonne “Demi” Lovato is an American singer, songwriter and actress. She was born on August 20th of 1992, in Albuquerque. When she was two years old her parents get divorced so she moved to Texas with her mom and her big sister. During her childhood she attended acting, singing and dancing classes.

    Problems and addictions

    Demi has always have problems due to her dad, who had schizophrenia, bipolarity and drug addiction. From the age of eight she suffered from eating disorders and due to this, she gained weight. Also, she suffered bullying at school, so in 2002 she asked her mother to educate her at home. At that time Demi had a car accident and because of this she was prescribed pills to relieve pain, which created an addiction.In 2010 she reached her limit, after which she was admitted to a rehabilitation center

    Career

    She was best known for her role in the movie Camp Rock. Since he signed with Hollywood Records, he released his first studio album Do not Forget (2008) and was followed by five more albums. From 2009 to 2011, she was a judge and mentor in The X Factor. In 2013 he launched the book Staying Strong: 365 Days a Year and in 2017 a YouTube documentary about his life and career entitled Demi Lovato: Simply Complicated.

Also, Demi support many charities and she created the Lovato Treatment Scholarship Program, to pay treatment costs for mentally-ill patients.

    On March 15 of this year, he celebrated his sixth year of sobriety; however, on June 21, Lovato released "Sober" in which she revealed she had relapsed after six years of sobriety. On July 24, she was rushed to the hospital due to an overdose. After that, she was admitted to a rehabilitation center, from which she got out a few days during the month of November, and where she will remain until the beginning of 2019.
