early life
Demi is the middle child of three sisters. Her older sister, Dallas, is also a singer and actress, and her younger sister, Madison. During her childhood, Demi participated and won several talent contest and performed in many famous venues, Dallas Cowboys thanksgiving day halftime show. She soon started show business at the age of 10. After staring on Barney and Friends she guest started on televison Dramas. -
Music career
September 23, 2008, Lovato released her debut album, Don't Forget. Most of the songs on the album were co-written by the Jonas Brothers. The album debuted at number 2 on Billboard 200 charts. Lovato went on tour to Promote her album on tour with the Jonas brothers as the opening act in 2008 on the Burning up Tour. On july 21, 2009 she debuted her second album Here we Go Again. While on tour Lovato got into an argument with a dancer. -
Disney Channel
Demi started working with Disney channel in 2007. Demi's first show working with disney channel was As the Bell Rings. Soon enough her role was ended. Soon enough she landed the role in Camp Rock as Mitchie Torres . While filming Camp Rock she soon began recording three songs with the Jonas Brothers for the film. 2008 she recorded "That's How You Know" from Enchanted on the DisneyMania 6 album. Later that year she filmed another move for disney, Princess Protection Program. -
Rehab
.... While on tour, Lovato got into an argument with a dancer. The fight made headlines, and she sought treatment after the incident. According to People magazine, Demi sought help for "emotional and physical issues." Some of these issues were revealed to be an eating disorder and self-harm through cutting. After completing treatment, Demi released her 2011 album Unbroken, which included the hit "Skyscraper." She put out her next record, Demi, two years later. -
X-Factor Judge
in 2012, Lovato took on a new role. She joined The X Factor, a popular singing competition, in its second season as a judge. Lovato, Simon Cowell, music industry titan L.A. Reid and pop star Britney Spears worked together to review the contestants and determined who would win the $5 million recording contract. -
Coming back to acting
Demi made a return to acting in 2013, with a role on the music show Glee. In 2013 Demi made the choice of being opened about her earlier personal struggles, saying she battled with substance abuse. she has also gone public with her diagnosis for bipolar disorder. According to the Cosmopolitan for Latinas magazine, she uses medication to help manage her condition. -
Recent
Summer of 2015 Demi came out with her new hit single, Cool For The Summer. Later that year she went on and appeared on many Tv shows. Demi appeared as a guest judge on RuPaul's Drag Race that year. She also included her professional and personal sides to shoot a guest appearance on boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama's show From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series
