Evaluation
Lena goes to evaluations to get scored and matched. Good thing a herd of cows came rushing in during the middle because Lena started answering questions completely wrong. She sees Alex during the rush of cows, and he winks at her. Lena found this a little strange since she had no idea who he was or why he was watching her. -
Black Cove
After graduation Lena and Hana accidentally run into the loading zone of the laboratories, where they meet Alex. He invites Lena to Black Cove that night, but on her way there she turn s back afraid to break curfew, or get caught by the regulators. -
July Fourth Party
Lena goes over to Hana's house the morning of Fourth of July, when she finds Hana listening to illegal music. Hana tells Lena she doesn't have it in her to go to an illegal party, so to prove Hana wrong ,she sneaks out in the middle of the night. When there she sees Alex and they dance before Lena has to get back home. -
East End Beach
At the party Lena planned to meet Alex at East End Beach, so they both showed up there. Lena thought that she was safe because she was with a cured, but she soon finds out that Alex is an invalid. -
42 Tanglewild Lane Raid
Hana invites Lena once again to another party which she denies at first but as soon as she finds out that there is a raid, she sneaks out to warn all of them. Once she gets there, its too late the regulators have already arrived. Lucky, after Lena gets bitten by a dog, Alex saves her and they hide in a shed till its safe. -
Visit to the Wilds
Alex and Lena spend lots of time together and she begins to fall for deliria. They both escape to the wilds for a couple of hours, taking huge dangerous risks. -
Dinner with Brian Scharff
After receiving Lena paired match, her Aunt schedules a dinner which Lena absolutely does not want to attend, since she wants to be with Alex. Although Brian is a nice person, Lena still is not satisfied because he is not Alex. That night she meets Alex at 37 Brooks where he conforms her that he thinks Lena's mother is still Alive. -
Crypts
Lena and Alex sneak their way into the crypts and ward six. There they find Lena's mothers cell with her necklace in the corner and 'love' written all over the walls. The O has formed a tunnel and she has gotten out. -
Caught at 47 Brooks
Lena is so mad that her family has been keeping this secret from her, and wants to escape to the Wilds with Alex forever. One day they meet at 37 Brooks to plan their escape when they notice there is a lock in the window, and they have been spotted by the regulators. They try to get away, but it is no use, and they have captured Lena and moved her procedure for 3 days. Lucky Alex ran fast enough to loose the regualtors. -
Lena's Escape
At the last minute Lena jumps out the window of her house onto Alex's motorcycle. They make it over to the fence, where Lena climbs over, like Alex told her. When she looks back, Alex has been shot, and the regulators are taking him away. This leaves Lena to have to run away in the Wilds by herself.
