Dec 2, 1774 She was 14 years old.The king punished the people of Boston for dumping three ships of tea into the Boston harbor. Dec 2, 1775 She was 15 years old. The trouble was getting worse. Dec 2, 1776 George Washington was chosen to be the captain of the army. Dec 2, 1778 She was 16 years old. The war was long and the news was sad. Dec 2, 1778 She was free from the farm. Dec 2, 1782 She was going to join the continental army. Dec 2, 1783 She was 21 years old and we just won the battle at York Town. Dec 2, 1783 Deborah had been in the army for a year and a half now. Dec 2, 1802 She kept a record of money she had to pay out. Dec 2, 1805 The government gave the soldiers money that served. Deborah got her part. Dec 2, 1827 She was not forgotten 100 years after her death.
