  • Theodore National Park

    Harry Truman founded Theodore National Park in North Dakota.

  • Military sent to Vietman.

    In 1950, 35 military advisers were sent to Vietman.

  • Virginia started school.

    At the age of 6, VIrginia started school at Lincoln School in Burlington, WIsconsin.

  • Colored T.V's go on sale.

    In 1953, colored T.V's went on sale. But, in June of 1951 the first colred T.V show came out, it wasn't until 1953 that they went on sale for people to buy.

  • First large scale against polio for children.

    In 1954 children were getting very sick with a sickness called polio. Polio is a very deadly desiese to children.

  • The United States agrees to train Vietemese Troops.

    The United States agree to start taining Vietemese troops.

  • Rosa Parks refuses to give up her seat.

    In 1955, Rosa Parks refuses to give up her seat to some white men on a bus. THen the Mongomery Bus BOyvott happened for a little over a year just because Rosa Parks wouldn't give up her seat on the bus.
