  • George commits crime

    George is parking his car when he hits the car next to him. He gets out to see the damage and sees that there is a large dent in both cars. He thinks about leaving a note but looks around and sees that no one is around. He decides to get back in his car and drive away.
  • Pressing Charges

    Thomas takes George to court for hitting his car even though George says he didn't do it.
  • Arrest

    George is arrested and is not read his miranda rights by the police before being questioned. He admits to hitting Thomas's car but it cannot be used in court.
  • Apperance in Court

    George acknowledges that a defense will be filed
  • Opening statements

    Thomas's lawer states that the defendant clearly damaged his car and fled the scene. George's lawer states that there was no damage to the cars.
  • Presentation of Evidence

    Thomas's Lawer presents a surveilence tape of George hitting the vehicle obtained from the scene.
  • Closing statements

    George's lawer claims that the video was too far away to tell if any damage had been done to the vehicle and the prosecution had no other evidence of damage or repairs. Thomas's lawer says the video clearly shows George hitting Thomas's car.
  • Jury deliberates

    Jury takes one week to decide verdict.
  • verdict

    Jury find George guilty.
  • Sentencing

    Judge scentences George to pay for Thomas's repairs and loses his lisence forever.
