    Was made in 1953 by Chevrolet. First Corvette in the 1st generation, 2 door convertible. The original price was $3,490, and the available color was Polo White with Sportsman Red Interior. It became a very popular car and was very pretty.

    Made in 1962, original price was $4,038. It was still a 2 door convertible and had more available colors: Tuxedo Black, Roman Red, Almond Beige, Honduras Maroon, Fawn Beige, Ermine White, and Sateen Silver.

    Made in 1963, called the Corvette Sting Ray because of its resemblance to a sting ray. Priced at $4,252 for the Coupe style and $4,037 for the Convertible style. A very attractive car with some new colors available: Tuxedo Black, Silver Blue, Daytona Blue, Riverside Red, Saddle Tan, Ermine White, and Sebring Silver.

    Made in 1967, most refined of the second generation of Corvette's. One of my favorite kinds of corvette, especially the Ermine White and Rally Red interior. Colors were pretty similar to before: Tuxedo Black, Ermine White, Rally Red, Marina Blue, Lynn-dale Blue, Elkhart Blue, Good wood Green, Sun fire Yellow, Silver Pearl, and Marlboro Maroon. The price was $4, 388 for the Coupe and $4,240 for the Convertible.

    The 1968 Corvette was made during rough times for the world, prices went up a bit and so did gas prices. The original price was $4,663 Coupe and $4,320 Convertible. However Chevrolet still created a pretty car with the colors: Tuxedo Black, Polar White, Rally Red, LeMans Blue, International Blue, British Green, Safari Yellow, Silverstone Silver, Cordovan Maroon, and Corvette Bronze.

    1974 Corvette is my 2nd favorite, it's a gorgeous car. The Classic White with red is perfect. But the other colors consist of: Silver Mist, Corvette Gray, Corvette Medium Blue, Dark Green, Bright Yellow, Dark Brown, Medium Red, Mille Miglia Red, and Corvette Orange. The price was $6,001 Coupe and $5,765 Convertible.

    This generation of Corvette's, in my opinion, were the ugliest of them. The style of the car just doesn't appeal to me, but the 1984 Corvette had more colors, faster, and a higher price. The colors available were: White, Bright Silver Metallic, Medium Grey Metallic, Black, Light Blue Metallic, Medium Blue Metallic, Yellow, Gold Metallic, Light Bronze Metallic, Dark Bronze Metallic, Bright Red, Silver/Medium Grey, Light Blue/Medium Blue, andLight Bronze/Dark Bronze. The price was $21,800.

    The 1989 style didn't improve much, it was still a nice car just not my choice. Came up with a convertible style also. Prices were $31,545 Coupe and $36,785 Convertible. However, there wasn't as much color options: White, Medium Blue Metallic, Dark Blue Metallic, Black, Dark Red Metallic, Bright Red, Gray Metallic, and Charcoal Metallic.

    The 1996 style was still kinda ugly but the new colors helped it a little: Dark Purple Metallic, Arctic White, Sebring Silver Metallic, Admiral Blue, Black, Bright Aqua Metallic, Polo Green Metallic, Competition Yellow, and Torch Red. Prices shot up to $37,225 Coupe and $45,060 Convertible.

    This car was put on the market March 7, 1997 and it was very important to long time Corvette fans. The new Corvette came with a whole new look, described as "elegant, seductive, and a testament to the long lineage of sports cars that proceeded it." The release of this car was a hit. It came with pretty much the same colors as before and the price wasn't bad at all, $37,495. This car was seen as a new start on the Corvette brand.

    I chose the 2000 year car because it was my grandfathers first Corvette, a torch red convertible. Prices were $39,475 Coupe, $38,900 Hardtop, and $45,900 Convertible. There was a good bit of colors available: Arctic White, Light Pewter Metallic, Sebring Silver Metallic, Nassau Blue Metallic, Navy Blue Metallic, Black, Torch Red, Millennium Yellow, Magnetic Red Metallic, and Dark Bowling Green Metallic. This was the year that the Corvette made it on the racetrack.

    The 2010 Corvette is my favorite one because my grandfather had this one and I loved riding in it. His was a Zo6 hardtop convertible that was velocity yellow, he built the specs for it. The prices went up: $49,880 Coupe, $54,530 Convertible, $55,720 Grand Sport Coupe, $59,530 Grand Sport Convertible, $75,235 Z06 Coupe, and $107,830 ZR1 Coupe. The colors were Arctic White, Blade Silver, Black, Velocity Yellow, Cyber Gray, Torch Red, Jet stream Blue, and Crystal Red.
