"The Notorious" Conor Anthony McGregor was born on July 14, 1988 in Crumlin, Dublin, Ireland. He is a mixed martial artist and professional boxer. He is signed with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He is the reigning lightweight champion and the number two pound for pound fighter in the world. He was a plumber's apprentice before he met UFC fighter Tom Egan and started training in mixed martial arts. He mad his official UFC debut in 2013. -

In his speech he praises the fans of the sport and calls out other fighters for not representing the sport well("Conor"). I can infer that Conor is very grateful and willing to work hard for his fans. He wants to keep working to make sure his fans are satisfied. I can also infer that he has a fearless personality. Not everyone would have the heart to call out the largest man in the world for being soft. -
