200,000 BCE

There are a lot of hypotheses about body language but the evolutionary theory tells us that in approximately 200.000 years BC the human being didn't be able to comunicate with verbal language so they communicated by signs, grunts, sounds and gestures.

Rock Art

35,000 BCE

Approximately in the year 35.000 BC, the human being were comunicated by making sculptures, engravings, petroglyphs, pictographs and paintings in rocks or caves.

Writing

3200 BCE

There are a lot of different writings in all the history but the first writing was made in Mesopotamia approximately in the year 3.200 BC. After that we can find more writings like hieroglyphs or the chinese calligraphy.

Printing

1440

Although the Romans and the Chinese used clay molds and porcelain pieces, the man that created the printing was Johannes Gutenberg in 1440. He perfected the existing printing techniques, casting each letter of the alphabet into metal.

Electric Telegraph

1829

Joseph Henry created the first electric telegraph in 1829. However Samuel B. F. Morse was the person that give the electric telegraph a big impulse. It was used to transmit messages to a certain distance.

Telephone

1876

The first telephone was created by Alexander Graham Bell in 1876. This invention requires electricity to be able to talk remotely and it started a telephone network.
