Housekeeping was her job as soon as she migrated to Los Angeles. She ended up marrying an American and after a few months of marriage , she received her citizenship. The day she receieved her citizenhip, her American dream became reality. -

Hugo was 3 years old when he came to America. Him and his mother came to America in 1983 after his mom decided she wanted a better life for her two kids. They took a plane to Tijuana, and from their they drove to San Francisco, California. He grew up as a hoodlum and when he was 16 he had a son named Hugo Quintero. -
Sovannary Sim
The genocide had started when she was only 7 years old. She was put to work in concentration camps when she was 8 years old. The Khmer Rouge had tooken over their lives and dictated everything they did. Her mom passed away when she was 13 due to starvation. Her and her dad escaped to a refugee camp in Thailand where she gained two step sisters and a half brother. They then migrated to a refugee camp in the Philippines where they were then sponsered to America. She arrived in California in 1985. -
