We tried to invade Cuba and failed SO bad which is why at the CUban Missile Crisis the Military wanted to invade Cuba again so bad to like regain themselves for their terrible loss.

The United States discovered that the USSR had missiles in Cuba, which was very close to the United States. This made us think they were going to fire at us, so we got mad at them and blocked the ships goign to Cuba until we worked it out that we would move our missiles away from them if they got rid of theirs too. Almost the start of WW3. -
