Coco Chanel was born in Saurmur, France. Her mother (Jeanne Devolle), was a laundry women and her father (Albert Chanel), was a street peddeler. -
Coco's Mother Dies
At the age of 27 Jeanne Devolle dies of tuberculosis. Her father coudn't take care of the five children so her two brothers got sent to an all boys orphanage. Her and her sisters get sent to an all girls orphanage. Coco Chanel was 12 when her mother died. -
Coco gets a starting job
Coco works as a dress maker with her Aunt during 1900 to 1904. -
Notre Dame
Coco soon is too old to attend the orphanage so at the age of 18 she moves to a bording school called Notre Dame which is located in Paris -

Coco created the little black dress in 12926 and the dress ws later sold for 1,500 pounds. -

Coco goest to hollywood to design outfits for actors for a year but soon returns to paris after a year -
Coco Closes both of her Stores
At the decloration of World War II, Coco decides to close her two stores. -

Coco reopens her stores and starts to design again -
