    On a peaceful day in Washington D.C. a group of calm African American bus riders and CORE white people road a bus to New Orleans. The riders were attacked by white racist civilians. The attackers stoned and beat the peaceful freedom riders.

    On March 7, 1965 in Selma Montgomery, over 600 civil rights marchers attended a peaceful march that turned unpeaceful very quick. The 600 marchers were suddenly and brutally attacked by lawmen.
