This was a compromise which ment that both sides didnt get everything they wanted but it helped a whole lot! This compromise was over sectional conflict these bills passed were supposed to reduce that.

These men went to the town Rosewood and killed people, burned houses and destroyed families. Some people even had to hide in the nearby swamps to escape the wrath of these violent men.
