    Was selected to be the leader for the Montgomery Improvement Association. He Started as as Minister then lead groups for civil rights, with peace.
  • Little Rock Nine

    Little Rock Nine
    Where a group of nine African Americans who where alowed to be the first blacks to go to an all white school in Kansas (Little Rock Central High School).
  • Sit-ins

    Sit-ins
    Was a peaceful way of causing a riot, where blacks would sit in cafes at the white only section. They would sit there waiting to be served but white people would get upset and yell at them, spit on them, and dump food on them.
  • Freedom Riders

    Freedom Riders
    Where groups of blacks and white who all rode on buses amongs each other to protest seating arrangements on the bus. The buses started at Washington, DC and where to go all the way to New Orleans, but only made it as far as Jackson, Mississippi.
  • Birmingham Campaign

    Was an event ran by Martin Luther Jr. to bring attention to blacks efforts to bring rights. And they where peacefull events held in Alabama, but the community and law inforcement didn't like and would attack them, sprey them with water, and let their dogs attack them.
