Two buses took the Freedom Riders on a trip through the South to ensure that it was desegregated. Many of the Freedom Riders were badly beaten up and the bus was even bombed.

Robert Kennedy had just won the California Primary and he was surely going to be our next president. He was a supporter of Civil Rights, and although his death didn't have anything to do with the Civil Rights, they felt that they truly lost a leader.
