A NAACP memeber (Rosia Parks) was sitting in the front of the colored section and the white section got full so the had to sit in the front seats of the colored section. They were not allowed to sit across from blacks so they told Rosia to give her seat up. She refused and the police had to remove her from the bus and putting her in jail. This lead to the Montgomery black community launches a bus boycott. -
