She had to walk across railroad tracks and take a bus to her school when she could have gone to a school not even 5 blocks from her home. The only reason why is because it was an all white school. this case made it so that there was integration in all schools.

    After the arrest of Rosa Parks the black community planned a mass boycott of all the buses. No colored person rode the buses for about a year. Martin Luther King Jr. was the one who planned the boycott. As a result the Supreme Court ruled that segregated buses were unconstitutional and the laws were then disbanded.

    September 24, 1957, was the day that Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas would integrate. There were nine African-American students that would be new to the school that year who would be famously known as "The Little Rock Nine". At the end of the year only one of the original nine graduated, Earnest Green. The school closed the following year.
