    Social Protest Against the transportation system in Montgomery Alabama. Sparked the Emergence of Martin Luther King Jr. Led to Supreme court Decision that the segregation laws in Montgomery Alabama Were unconstitutional.

    Was to advocate for the rights of African Americans, At the march Dr. Martin Luther King Jr standing in front of the Lincoln Memorial, delivered his historic "I Have a Dream" speech in which he called for an end to racism. It was a success in drawing attention to the issue and the speech by MLK in possibly the most famous in American history.

    Prohibits racial discrimination in voting. It was signed into law by President Lyndon B. Johnson during the height of the civil rights movement on August 6, 1965, and Congress later amended the Act five times to expand its protections.
