It stated that the LT governor would be the one who took office if something were to happen to the governor. Although the governor had been elected, he died the next month before he ever took office. The previous governor thought that he was governor, so did the governor's son because he recieved write in votes, but the lieutenant governor aswell thought he was the governor because of the constitution.

  • Brown v. Board of Education

    Brown v. Board of Education
    Oliver Brown was the father of a girl who wasn't getting a fair education compared to the white children, so he filed against the board of education for not holding the " Seperate but Equal" policy to their schools from the Plessy v. Ferguson court ruling. The supreme court ruled that schools should no longer be segregated and recieve equal education as everyone else, upholding the fourteenth amendment.

    MLK Jr. first began his career as a civil rights activist after Rosa Parks had sat in a white persons spot on a segregated bus. He and many others followed her example and created a bus boycott which led to the first integrated bus. He then joined the Albany movement and took nonviolent acts to gain civil rights. He also led the very important March on Washington. He was a very famous and inspiring leader.
