    she was the oldest of 8 children.she was educated at private schools, on the 15 of august in 1850 when she was 8 she received the first holy communion. she got a job at age 14 and was a clerk, later she became a teacher at Portland, she made a school and her sisters helped her to stop the lack of catholic schools in Australia, She taught more than 50 kids, dedicating herself to God, only wearing black.
