when caught nobody knew who Christopher was until the police seen knights picture in the 1984 yearbook from his school. later on knight began to talk and said it was true that he went to Lawrence high school. -

christopher broke into more then 1000 cabins. he served 7 months in jail -
meeting a friend at prison
this was the only person knight could talk to in prison that would not make fun of him. knight felt very alone while in jail. -
meeting michel finkel
knight sent Michael (the authour of the book) a letter in the mail, so Michael decided to drive to the prison to meek knight and knight refused to talk until the third time Michael came to visit -

the day Christopher was released from prison the author talked about how he has never seen Christopher smile like this before. he had a beard and called it his clock as the longer he was in jail the longer it got. -
train station
Dow drives knight to this train station in the village of Albion to watch the trains, it reminds knight of when he was a child and his favorite thing to do was watch the trains. -
knight visits his camp site one last time
this was the last time knight was able to go see where he spent most of his life. he walked around picking up a few things to take with him so he could always remember.
