    WAAC became a law. it gave WAAC's official status and salary but few of the benefits granted to male soldiers.
  • American Naval Forces

    The scout planes found a japanese fleet. AMericans sent torpedo planes and dive bombers to the attack.
  • First allied offensive began

    19000 troops stormed Guadacanal in th esolomon islands.
  • German Commander Surrendered

    He surrendered in the Battle of Stalingrad. Two days later his troops surrendered too.

    Summoned Mussolini to his palace, took away his power and had him arrested.
