Sacagawea was kidnapped
Sacagawea was kiddnapped when she was 12, but she escaped before she cold get sold into slavery. She was going to be sold to a French - Canadian fur trapper, named Toussaint Charbonneau. -
Toussaint Charabonneau was hired as a translator
Toussaint Charabonnue was hired as a translator for the Lewis and Clark expedition. Since the expedition would be meeting tribes of Native Americans, they needed someone who knew how to speak their language. Tossaint wasn't the best Translator, but he was hired anyway. -
Lewis and Clark Expedition set sail
The Lewis and Clark Expedition took off. They headed up the Missouri River. It was only white men and slaves who went on this trip, and because of this, they looked like fierce intruders. -
Expedition encounters Native Americans
Lewis and Clark had their first encounter with the Missouri Indians. Charbonneau failed to translate, and the indians thought that they were intruders, so they faught. Half of the men were killed. -
Lewis Died
Lewis died of Malaria along with two slaves. Dispite the loss, the Expedition contiues on. -
Frostbite killed the rest of the men
There was a blizzard on the Rocky Mountians. The men got seperated and were never heard from again. It is said that they died of frostbite. -

Spanish siezed the west and central area of North America. They expanded to the Louisiana Territory and caused tension with the United States. -
John Tylor declared war
John Tylor declares war on the Spainish. The Spanish and Americans can't agree on bourders, so finally, after years of arguing, they go to war. -
Spanish won the Spanish-American War
After five years of fighting, the Spanish were able to win the war. With the Fench as allies, the Spanish outnumbered and overtook the Americans. The Spanish renamed The United States of America as The Spanish America. -
America becomes part of the Spainish Empire.
The United States of America becomes part of the Spanish empire. The people were forced to change there way of life and obey the Spanish rules. Those who didn't obey the rules were slaves.
