  • Zacharias Janssen

Zacharias made the first compund microscope and teloscope.
  • Anton Van Leeuwenhoek

Anton descovered bacteria, by looking of a dental scraping of his teeth. He called them Animacules.
  • Robert Hook

He came up with them name cell when he looked at a peace of corck. He said he saw little cell chambers like the ones that muncks live in.
  • Hook VS. Sir Isaac Newton

When Hook read a book that Newton wroke on gravity, Hook claimed that Newton stole it from him. When Hook died Newton hid all his stuff, but when it was found Newton burned Hook's portrate.
  • Mat Thias Schleiden

Mat found out that all plants are made of cells.
  • Theodore Schwann

Theodore said that all animals are made of cells.
  • Schleiden VS. Schwann

Schleiden believed that cells were free forming where Schwann believed that cells came from other cells. Schwann is right and Schleiden is wrong. The person that helped prove Schwann right was Robert Remak.
  • Robert Brown

Scottish bioanist and palaeobotanist who made important contributions to botany largely through his pioneering use of the microscope. His contributions include one of earliest detailed descriptions of the cell nucleus and cytoplasmic streaming. The observation of Brownian motion; early work on plants pollination and fertilization, including being the first to recognize the fundamental difference between gymnosperms and angiosperms; and some of the earliest studies in palynology.
  • Henri Dutrochet

He investigated and described asmosis, respiration, embryology, and the effect of light on plants. He descovered cell biology and cells in plants and the actual discovery of the process of osmosis.
  • Endosymbiotic Theory

    Eukaryotes lived in Prokaryotes.
