The Proclamation of 1763 was a file that King George III of England signed that stopped any English colonist from living west of the Appalachian mountains. If you were already west of the mountains you were sent back to the east. This rule was put in place to ease the strain with the Native Americans.

The Sugar Act of 1764 was an act that would pay for the debt from the French and Indian War. This act increased taxes on items like coffee, wines, indigo dye, textiles, and sugar.

The Stamp Act of 1764 was an act that taxed everything like newspapers, playing cards, lincinces, legal documents, bills, pamphlets and alamances. This made the colonists super angry because it was the first time they had to pay taxes in 150 years. So obviously they didn’t take well to this and ended up creating the phrase “no taxation without representation”.

The Quarterung Act was an act that let royal troops stay in the places of colonists. The colonists had to feed and take care of the royal troops. Not everyone has the stuff for extra people in their homes and so the colonists were mad.

The Boston Massacre happened when the British shot their guns into a crowd randomly. The attack killed five people and injured six. The colonists responded to this with the Boston Tea Party.

A group of colonists dressed up as Indians and went onto the Beaver, the Eleanor and the Dartmouth. They ended up dumping at least one million dollars of tea into the Boston Harbor. The weight of the tea was forty five tons.

The intolerable acts was an act that had a bunch of laws that were passed by the British Prime Minister. They ended up moving the port. Which made the city the port was in mad because that's the only reason the city was made. They only reason the acts happened was because of the Boston Tea Party and the Sons Of Liberty.

This act was an act that allowed the royal government to move trials to different colonies. They could even move it to England. The only reason he could move it to England was incase if he was scared that the juries in the colonies wouldn't judge fairly.
