A war between France and Britain over the control of land and the fur trade. Also known as the seven year war. The British win and they gain control of the Mississippi River and lad east of the Mississippi River. Also parts of Canada. -
Proclamation of 1763
It was an imaginary line draw by British officals that kept the Colonist from settleing west of the Appalacian Moutains. This law angered many Colonist. -
Sugar Act
The Sugar Act is also known as the "American Revenue Act". This act reduced the rate by half and increased measures to enforce the tax.
