Colonist threatened the soldiers with throwing snowballs and rocks at them and daring them to shoot their guns.

On December 16,1773, after officials in Boston refused to return 3 shiploads if taxed tes into Biritan, a group of colonist boarded the ships and destroyed the tea by throwing it into the Boston Harbor.

    The Continental Congress was a convention of delegates from 12 British North American colonies that met on September 5, 1774 at Capenters' Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It had 55 members appointed by the legislatures of 12 of the thirteen colonies. It was unicameral ans it disbanded sometime around May 10, 1775.
