Around this time (give or take a year) Catherine was being taken all around the country by her mother in search for a powerful husband. Catherine's mom only did this for her own personal befint, not her daughters. -
Religion Change
Catherine convernts from the German Lutheran Church to the Russian Otherodox Church. This is also when she changed her name to Catherine. -
Marriage
Catherine the Great turns 16 years old around this time, and soon married Peter von Holstein-Gottorp, Duke of Holstein-Gottorp. -
Rising power
Around this time Catherine was able to work her way up and become the Russian Empress, because she killed her husband. -
Peace with Prussia
In 1763 a peace on treaty was signed. Russia and Prussia became an official alliance. -

Around this time Catheine made a policy that created a system which woiuld help set up many differnt elementry and secondary schools through out Russia -

Not the exact date but the correct year. Turkey was defeated this year in a war with Russia and they made a treaty of Jassy which gave Russia land and some power of Turkey -

On this day Catherine the Great died due to old age.
