in 1768 Catherine helped Stanislas a King of Poland supress a revolt. Then russia waged war against Turkey and they defeated them. soon after the Austrians threatened war in 1772. in 2 years of 1774 Russia and turkey signed a peace treaty with Russia gaining the right of the Black Sea.
