Camryn Love's to Read
Camryn (age 6) tried really hard to get better at reading, and get to a higher reading level. Erikson's fourth stage, Industry Vs. inferiority, the crisis is in being bad at reading (inferiority) but having encouragement from teachers to get better (Industry), until you are. Taking that initiative to get to a way higher level of reading. Loving reading and now having three bookshelves full of books. -
Camryn Figures out her Life
Camryn (age 12) decided she was going to work in the NICU and become a nurse. In Erikson's fifth stage, Identity vs. Role Confusion, finding a sense of self (identity) by exploring values, beliefs, and goals in life (role confusion). The crisis is in finding what role one plays in life, and what our beliefs and goals are. -
Camryn Makes New Friends
Camryn (age 17) try's to make new friends at a new school with slight anxiety. Erikson's sixth stage Intimacy Vs. Isolation, the crisis is in making new friends (Intimacy) and relationships with the people around with slight anxiety (Isolation) in meeting new people.
