Pluto is Discovered
Plutowas discovered by Clyde W. Tombaugh.For over seven decades pluto has been said to be the ninth planet of our solar system. From 1905 to 1916 pluto was called planet x. Astronomers new that Pluto was some what near Neptune and Uranus, but the didn't know wheather to consider it a planet or not. For a long while they just considered it a planet, but then pluto lost it's planet status in 2006. Pluto is now considered a dwarf planet. -
Star Spangled Banner
The Star Spangled Banner was made the United States national anthem march 3,1931. President Herbert Hoover signed an act that made it the national anthem. Before that, the united states did not have a national anthem. -
Empire State building is Complete
The Empire State building is the tallest building in the world. It stands 1,250 ft tall. The new york icon was completed on may 1st,1931.When it was finished it became a very popular veiw site. -
Lindbergh's Baby Kidnapped
Charles Lindbergh Jr. was kidnapped march 1st,1932. The 20 month old baby's parents put him to bed as usual. Around 10pm the nurse went to check on Charles, but when she walked in she was no where to be found. The family recieved ransom notes claiming that their son was safe and was unharmed. May 12th,1932 Charles remains were found decomposing in a shallow grave less than 5 miles from where he was taken. -
Assasination attempt on Franklin Delano Roosevelt
Franklin D. Roosevelt had just briefly sat down from giving a speech at the Bayfront park in Miami, Florida when five shots were fired. an italian immigrant and unemployed brick layer emptied his .32 caliber whikle aiming as best as he could at President Roosevelt. When the man shot he was standing a wobbly cahir 25 feet away, so he didn't get a clear shot. The president did not get hit but 5 others did. -

Ludie Summler was born
Ludie Summler was born april 8th,1938. She has an identical twin. She is 5 minute older than her twin. -
First day of school
Ludie started her first day of school September 3rd,1947. Back in that time children were not able to go to school until they were 6 years of age. -
First Marriage
Ludie got married at the age of 15 to a young man names Elmer Vaughn. -
First child
Ludie had her first child in november of 1953. She named him Billie Vaughn. -
Moved to Milwaukee
Ludie moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin a little after she got married. She now has been living here for over 60 years. -
Won First Bowling Tournament
After a while ludie took up bowling as a sport. In June of 1963 she won her first bowling tournament. She also won bowler of the year. -
First Started Shooting Pool
Right after Ludie took up bowling she took up pool. it started out as it just being for fun. Thwen she she became a pro and would often challenge many of her friends. -
First Micheal Jackson Concert
Ludie attened her first Michal Jackson concert with a few of her close friends. -
First Grandchild was born
Ludies first grandchild was born june 18th,1972. They named her Wandera Harrison. She is the daughter of Ludie's first son Billie. -
First Great Grandchild
Ludie's first great grandchild was born Feburary 12th, 1972. They named him Lamar Jr.
