    The Soviet Union is a socialist state goverened as a single party state by the Communist party. This was important because it turned Russia into a country that others depended on and it was the beginning of Communism. It's also important because the Nazis don't like the Soviets so they were part of World War One and two.

It was important because it had a big impact on Germany. It closed the chapter of WW1. Within the treaty, Germany had to pay for all damage the war had caused in reparations, and also had to have land taken away. It officially ended World War one.

    The Weimar Republic was a German democratic state after Germany's defeat in WW1. It was important because it was a "perfect" democracy for the Germans. After the war the Germans thought it was a good idea to make this, but they weren't used to it yet. It was made to pay huge debts, but there was too many serious economic problems with it.

It was important because it was the only book that showed Hitler's point of view. It showed his plans

Nazism is the German form of fascism. Communism is society in which property is publicly owned and each person is paid according to their abilities. They were important because they were the types of government systems that made life better.

This is important because Hitler then got to use the Reichstage fire to pass the Enabling Act. This also contributed to the process of Hitler becoming dictator because it gave him more power.

    The League of Nations never wanted the war to break out again after World War One. Many people looked up to the League of Nations for stablility after the Treaty of Versailles. When faced with accusations the Japanese and the Italians left the League of Nations. Because of its failure it led to World War two.

    The Nuremberg laws was racial laws that defined who was considered a Jew. The Jews were excluded from being German citizens, stripped from civil rights, and had to wear the yellow Star of David for identification. This was important because this was a start to the Holocause. They discriminated the Jews because of their religion and it wasn't fair.

    Agreement that permitted the Nazis from annexing a part of Czechoslovakia. This was important because they wanted to discuss the future of Sudetenland and territorial demands by Hitler. The agreement was then signed by Nazi Germany, France, Britain, and Italy. It was an act of appeasement so Hitler wouldn't go out of control so they gave him Czechoslovakia.

    Sudetenland was the region of the Northern Czech Republic. The munich agreement was a settlement where Nazis can annex parts of Czechoslovakia. HItler said if they give him sudentland they will stop. It is important because this agreement was formed in a conference in Munich which Czechoslovakia was not in.

    Kristallnacht eventViolent phase of anti-Jewish activity where Nazis burned synagogues and destroyed Jewish busniesses. 100 jews were killed and Jewish males were sent to concentration camps. Because of this, it led to more drastic measures like jews being banned from public buildings and transportations. This event was important because it was a persecutions of Jews leading them to the concentration camps.

    Nazi Germans and the Soviet Union signed this pact that guaranteed that two countries wouldn't attack each other. HItler didn't want to repeat the same mistakes as the first World War by splitting Germany's forces so he signed the pact. This was important because it allowed Germany to attack Poland without interference from the USSR.

    Because of the German-Soviet Pact, Germany attacked Poland and invaded it. German units had massive attacks in Warsaw and Warsaw eventually surrendered. This event was important because it led to the mobilization of Britain and France. This invasion was one the causes of World War two.
