Hernan Cortes was not very wealthy growing up but honour.But he was very smart so he was sent to Salamanca to get a better education.But Hernan Cortes was not always so bright. He was very naughty and mischievous to his parents Martin Cortes and Dona Catalina in 1499.

In 1524 his urge to adventure took him to the jungles of Honduras. Because of the two years, he spent in the jungle his health started to decrease. The property that was owned to Cortes was taken.

Hernan Cortes had died on december 2 1547.He died in Castilleja de la Cuesta.The cause of his death was by a condition called pleurisy, which was when the lungs inflamed and pain increased every time he breathed.
