CAR RIDE HOME
So the car ride home was something I wasn't expecting... As a new time pup mom, I was unaware of puppies getting car sick. As we were driving, she starts throwing up ALL over me, and I think she threw up at least 5 times the whole way home. Instead of it taking 6 hours, it took 9 hours due to the numerous trips of us having to stop to let her just run, and get out the car. She was worth all of it. -
WELCOME HOME BECK
Well, she rules the house. She came home to numerous toys, and we fell in love and still in love with her. -
ISO A GOLDEN DOODLE
I went searching around Facebook to find a group to look for breeders, I found one instantly and was accepted by group members. -
DECISIONS
There were SO many breeders and so many to choose from, my Facebook was blowing up with notifications. -
FOUND THE ONE
FINALLY!! I found one that made my decision clear. She sent me a picture of her in the wagon with her 4th of July bandanna on and I KNEW she was the one! -
DALLAS, GA
We contacted the breeder and got to facetime to see her before we made the big 6 hour drive to get her. She would always send me "pupdates" of her until we actually got our hands on her! -
TODAY IS THE DAY
We left super early, of course so we could get to her quicker and finally get to hold her. When we arrived, there were 4 puppies left that were waiting to get picked up from their new owners. -
SHOTS
I told myself I would not cry when she whimpered as the Vet was giving her shots, but I did. I had to walk out because it broke my heart into a million pieces. She now handles them like a champ!!! But it still upsets me, so each time we go to the vet I HAVE to have someone with me to comfort her when I step out. #crazydogmom
