There were 18,000 British troops that were split into two divisions attacking at different spots. Great Britain took the victory in this battle. This took place in September 1777.

The Warships made their way past the Charleston harbor making it impossible for the Colonists to escape or get reinforcements. Great Britain took the victory in this battle. This took place on March 29, 1780 to May 12, 1780.

    The Battle of Yorktown was known as the last Major battle of the Revolutionary War and it was the start of a nations independence. This battle also showed how good of a leader Washington was and therefore eventually led to his election as president. The Americans took victory in this battle. It took place on September 28, 1781 to October 19, 1781
